The SDMEA Conference
in connection with All-State Chorus and Orchestra. Graduate
Credit will be available from Black Hills State University
for this Conference.
October 29-31, 2009 - Rapid City
- The conference brings SDMEA events together in one
location on one weekend
- The combination of resources allows us to bring the
best in music education to present sessions relevant
to educators in all content area and grade levels
- The conference brings our state organization congruent
with other states in our division (MN, IA, ND, NE) whose
conferences are held in conjunction with their All-State
events.
- Performances by ensembles will be on an individual
basis for 2009. Applications available December 2009
for the 2010 conference.
- Presentations by individuals will be on a request
basis for 2009. Applications available December 2009
for the 2010 conference to be held in Aberdeen.
