Sheila Wipf is a Vocal and Instrumental Music Education graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. She began her teaching career at Freeman High School and currently is in her 17th year there. In Freeman, Sheila teaches 7-12 band, (concert, marching, and pep bands) 5-8 woodwind and percussion lessons, 7-8 brass lessons and directs the Girls Chorus and small girls vocal ensembles. Sheila is the Region I Music Secretary/Treasurer and participates with her program in all Region I contests. With her concert band, Sheila performed at the 2010 SD Music Educator's Conference. Sheila has been a guest conductor with several honor bands in southern South Dakota. She is a member of the South Dakota Bandmasters Association, SDMEA, and Phi Beta Mu. In 2006, Sheila received her Masters Degree in Educational Technology from the University of South Dakota.
In her spare time, Sheila keeps a small studio of piano students and tries to spend as much time as possible with her husband Larry and their four children Lacey (11), Sarah (9), Lily (6), and Sawyer (4)
