Rogene Brown has been teaching in Sioux Falls for 11 years and is the Whittier Middle School 6th, 7th and 8th grade Boys Choir Director.  She also teaches music at Oscar Howe and Anne Sullivan Elementary Schools.  She graduated from Washington High School in 1984, and completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Dakota in 1989.  She has sung with the Sioux Falls Masters Singers, with the South Dakota Symphony, and under the direction of Renee’ Clausen and Edie Copley.
