Dr. Lockwood has taught at all levels of formal education from kindergarten through community college and the university level. He holds degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Arizona State University at Tempe, and Eastern Kentucky University at Richmond. His Orff certification is from Colorado State University at Fort Collins. He has been a member of NSU's music faculty since 1994
